What is CYJ?
The Cameroon
Youths for Jesus (CYJ) is an interdenominational Christian
youth movement with a twofold vision: To preach the gospel
of Jesus Christ and to mobilise youths for Christian
service. CYJ was founded in 1991 by Br. Victor Mbarika
( By then A secondary school student) . The headquarters of
the Ministry is found in Yaounde the capital of Cameroon.
The ministry emerged from an earnest longing to preach the
gospel and to ignite in youths the passion for souls and the
zeal to serve God. From such a humble beginning, CYJ has
grown in lips and bounds spanning seven provinces with 10
Branches and over 21 Evangelistic Centres.
